It has taken 15 years to create the image that our patients have come to recognise as Anderson & Visser Optometrists and it hard to believe that in 3 hours it has all been taken apart!!

Anderson & Visser Becomes Spec-Savers Umhlanga

Anderson & Visser Optometrists has been our flagship store since the early 90’s and it is thanks to our loyal customer base that we were able to expand our business and open 2 new practices over the next few years.
We opened our Bluff store in 1995 and in 1998 we bought the SpecSavers franchise for The Bluff. This practice grew from strength to strength and through its success we were sold on the SpecSavers concept. We opened our La Lucia SpecSavers practice in 2000 and as expected, the SpecSavers concept proved itself once again.
The time has now come to bring the SpecSavers franchise to Umhlanga. We will be renovating our store from 5 May and plan to re-open our doors as SpecSavers Umhlanga on 13 May 2008.
You can expect the same dedication to professional eye-care combined with SpecSavers winning formula and special offers.
